INVITATION TO HIRE THE STRAW BALE HOUSE


Local organisations and businesses who participated in this year’s Ludlow Green Festival will already be aware of the Straw Bale House which was constructed in Castle Gardens by South Shropshire District Council’s Planning Department, just to the left of Ludlow Castle entrance, as a demonstration of sustainable building practice and a temporary venue for events and displays.
The house is to remain on its present site until at least early September and is available as a display / demonstration site for any local organisation or business promoting sustainable lifestyles or environmental well-being (this includes local arts or crafts groups / enterprises).

Availability Market days (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat) and Sundays – 9.0 am to 5.0 pm

Cost A booking fee of £10 per day will be charged.

Facilities The room measures 9ft 6” x 9ft 6”
You must supply your own table, chairs etc.
We regret there is no electricity supply

Publicity This will be the responsibility of the user but you may advertise your presence in the Straw Bale House on the day with ‘A’ boards in the Square. Banners / display boards may be used outside the house.
