OPPORTUNITIES FOR WALK ABOUT PERFORMANCES, CHARACTER PERFORMERS AND SET SHOWS
IN
SHREWSBURY INTERNATIONAL STREET FESTIVAL
SATURDAY 1ST AND SUNDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2007
Arts Access has been commissioned to supply community input to the upcoming festival,
so far we have: Shrewsbury Youth Theatre Group
Shrewsbury Street Theatre Club
Oswestry Circus Arts Group
Shrewsbury Circus Arts Club
Support from Squeak the Clown, Jack the Jester, Maggie Love and Poi Joi.
* We are looking for Adults or children of any age who:
- Are Individuals that have a costume or character and would like to parade and stroll through the festival.
- Have a group who have a performance show or costume characters.
- Individuals who have skills in circus, variety, outdoor performance, alternative skills such as 'skating and juggling'
* We are also looking for people who would just like to get involved and have a go. Costumes and acts can be provided.
Groups or individuals bringing their own show and costumes can claim expenses from Arts Access.
All applications for inclusion should be directed to:

Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.pm. 12th, 19th, 26th, July. 2nd, 9th, August
Costume fittings and Acts (Acts can make appointments to rehearse before this)
Thursdays 7.30pm - 9pm. 16th, 23rd August
Dress Rehearsal
Thursday 7.30pm - 9pm 30th August.
