We are planning to compile a directory of freelance artists who can run fun and flexible workshops with kids aged 5- 11 years old in South Shropshire during the holiday periods.
A series of children’s sport & art holiday activities and events are run in village halls and community centres across the South Shropshire district by the council’s Leisure Development team. The aim is to provide fun activates for local children to prevent holiday boredom and equip youngsters with new skills.
We are interested in hearing from all artists working in any artform, including; dance, drama, crafts, music, sculpture, circus, visual arts and digital media.
Artists will be paid £25 per hour on a freelance occasional basis inclusive of expenses. Additional costs for materials may be negotiated.
If you have previously run holiday activities for SSDC you will still need to apply as this directory will replace the previous scheme.
