The Exhibition
The Much Wenlock Open offers artists living in the county of Shropshire an opportunity to show their work in a gallery that is publicised across the region. We welcome submissions of all forms of two-dimensional work. In alternate years, the Open will be dedicated to student work only. In 2008, submissions are welcome from all artists.

The Ironbridge Gorge Word Heritage Festival Exhibition
This is the third World Heritage Festival for Ironbridge and this year the weekend will be based at Dale End where events will be taking place, one of which will be a large exhibition consisting of local artists covering different media.
The Exhibition
The World Heritage weekend consist of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd in September; however we will have the exhibition running for a month, with the Opening Night on the 6th September ending on the 6th October
Artists participating
Selected artists will have their work displayed appropriately for the media type. We will have ample wall space and some display area, as such if your work requires additional and or special consideration you will need to bring all display elements on the days the work is to be submitted for the exhibition. All artists are expected to participate practically or at the minimum involvement through open discussions with the public over the course of the weekend.
Additionally, several artists will be demonstrating their skills as applicable. We see making the weekend as interactive and exciting for all visitors will benefit all.
